A farmer's purchase decision on a tractor is governed by three things:
1. Purchase price
2. Cost of ownership
The Oggun II Open Systems tractor ranks #1 in all three.
Due to increased steel prices (China Trade Issues) we will have a temporary price increase until issues are resolved. As other components increase in price we will have no choice but to pass them on. The new price is $13,250.00
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused us to suffer both supply difficulties and price increases. We believe we will continue to have short term issues with some parts but, will continue to try to reduce our lead time of 10 weeks. On pricing we regret that we are going to have to increase our tractor price to $17,000 and our assembly kit to $15,000.
Due to COVID many of our component prices have gone up some, but our cost for fabrication has really gone through the roof. “The price of hot rolled steel has more than tripled since its August low to $1,350 per ton” Biden trade agenda looks likely to keep Trump’s steel tariffs - The Washington Post. It is projected that the price increase trend will continue CEMCO-Price-Increaes-Announcement-March-29-2021.pdf (cemcosteel.com). This has resulted in a $1,000.00 per tractor increase from our fabrication vendor, along with the other increases. Sorry, but until prices go back down we must increase out price to $18,500.00.
